 Ryerson garners his first NEC Coach of the Year nod EMMITSBURG, Md. – Ryerson garners his first NEC Coach of the Year nod after helping Mount St. Mary’s to its first NEC Tournament in his nine-year tenure at the Mount. Ryerson guided the Mount to a 9-9-0 overall mark and 5-4-0 in league play, its most overall wins since 2000 and most NEC victories since 2003. Picked ninth in the NEC Preseason Coaches’ Poll, the Mountaineers led the conference with 34 goals and 33 assists for 101 points. Ryerson led Mount St. Mary’s to the No. 4 seed in the NEC Tournament, its first tournament appearance since 1999 and the fifth in program history. Ryerson joins Mark Mettrick (1994, 1996) and Jim Deegan (1990) as NEC Coach of the Year award winners from the Mount. |

Rob Ryerson
Professional Soccer Camp has implemented proven
player development programs for youth soccer players
throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Washington,
DC and Virginia. Young players participating in
our Residential Soccer Camp are supported by one
of the best Coaching Staffs assembled on the East
Coast.
Rob holds three of the most prestigious National
Coaching Licenses: USSF "A" License,
USSF National Youth License and the NSCAA Premiere
License. Many players formerly coached by Rob
are now playing professionally for the MLS, NPSL,
A-League, and Division I colleges across the United
States.
Rob’s coaching career is as successful
as his playing career. He has coached at the
Division I collegiate level including positions
with UMBC, UNLV, and currently Mount St. Mary's
University. At the professional level, Rob coached
his way to earning "Coach of the Year"
honors with the Baton Rouge Bombers of the Eastern
Indoor Soccer League.
